The international workshop on "Adaptive interface techniques and their use for people with special needs" is sponsored by the INREDIS Consortium dedicated to basic research in accessible, interoperable and ubiquitous technologies. This workshop will be delivered by Professor Alfred Kobsa, an international expert in the field of adaptive interfaces.
The following topics will be addressed:
- user modeling and personalized systems (with applications in the areas of information environments, expert finders, and user interfaces for disabled and elderly people);
- privacy and information visualization, and
- their connections with the research held in the INREDIS project.
